Pius Horumpende is a Tanzanian Public Health specialist. He has extensive publications on antimicrobial resistance. He is also well versed in virology, especially salvatic arboviruses. He has published in International peer reviewed Journals on both infectious diseases and health system. He has served his country, Tanzania, as Assistant Director of Public and Private Health Facilities in the Ministry of Health, Tanzania. He currently serves as a Colonel in The Tanzania Peoples' Defence Forces as a Research Scientist.
Phila Mpontshane is a South African professional boxer who held the South African Junior Lightweight title. He successfully defended his title four times before losing it to Sibusiso Zingange in February 2022 ¹. Mpontshane had been inactive for about two years prior to the fight, having last competed in 2019 ².
Mpontshane's fight against Zingange was part of the Africa Boxing 14 event, which took place at the EFC Training Institute in Johannesburg, South Africa ¹. Despite his efforts, Mpontshane lost the fight by unanimous decision, with Zingange dominating the match and showcasing his superiority .
He competed Amateur ranks with Record of 220 fights 15 losses and 5 draws with 98 wins via stoppage .He was part of the National team from 2006 to 2011 served as SA Team Captain . He represented South Africa in Germany in International games where he big trophy and Silver and won Silver medal in Zone 6 games .
