Vice-Captain and Third-Captain

What’s the source that Maddison is vice-captain whereas Romero is third captain? When Sonny came off today v Burnley (with Madders still on), Cuti Romero was given the captain’s armband. Dawindler (talk) 19:51, 2 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The THFC website cites Maddison and Romero as vice-captains - see https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/2023/august/sonny-named-club-captain/ - so I would be in favour of describing them each as vice-captain. LenF54 (talk) 17:08, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Again today Romero got the armband so if anything Romero appears to be second captain, but it’s been changed to vice-captain for both, which is fine. Dawindler (talk) 17:04, 16 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Austin played for a USA national team then was called up for an England national team but didn't play. He was shown as American because one editor insisted on it in January. In order to resolve it without an edit war I opened a discussion on Brandon Austin's talk page but this produced no comments. The nationality on the THFC page has today been changed by another editor to English and we will see what results. It would be nice if we could have a permanent consensus.
