[edit]Boundary information was obtained from the Seattle City Clerk's Neighborhood Map from link at bottom of List of Seattle neighborhoods. It was not clear exactly where part of the southern boundary is located. So I winged it.
I noted that when traveling west on 130th St NW, there is a sign stating "Welcome to Broadview" just passed Aurora, not Greenwood. Also, Broadview Community United Church of Christ, on 125th St, is located east of Greenwood. Which is obviously contrary to the Seattle City Clerk's neighborhood map. But I wonder whether it is worth suggesting that Bitter Lake is not uniformly considered to extend south of 130th (with Broadview taking up the slack, extending to Aurora when south of 130th, but extending only to Greenwood north of 130th). -- YLlama
Broadview neighborhood limits
[edit]I'd like to amend the definitions of Broadview as follows:
West Broadview:
Everything west of 3rd Avenue NW to the Sound from Carkeek Park in the south and ending at 145th. Some would consider some of the more N'west homes to be a part of another more exclusive waterfront neighborhood known as the Highlands I believe.
Central Broadview:
The boundaries would be very tightly considered to include all of the houses between Holman Rd. and 145th and the east/west boundaries would be 3rd Ave. NW and Greenwood.
East Broadview:
105th to 130th and Greenwood extending East to Aurora.
The Bitter Lake neighborhood:
Should encompass 130th to 145th and Greenwood to Aurora. 67.168.189.105 23:08, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
