This page needs *major* wikification. Kingturtle 02:56 Apr 17, 2003 (UTC)
Should there not be mention in this time line of the fact that the Australian SAS had been operating in Western Iraq since March 18, 2003?? Rac fleming 14:03, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
New templates
[edit]After reading through a couple weeks of events I realized that many recollections seem to be slanted towards one side or the other, some of these I doubt actually have happened. And after scrolling through the entire article, I realized that while there are some citations only one is listed on the bottom-odd, as they have numbers. There are other templates (like grammer and spelling) that can be applied to this article, but in short it just needs some major cleaning up. Nichts 18:37, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Cleanup
[edit]This article needs some major cleanup. It needs an english language speaker to go over and smooth out some spots where the language is clumsy. Alas, I cannot, 35.11.183.95 02:29, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
I just revised the article so that it is consistently in the present tense (in keeping with the style of other Wikipedia timelines). I also did more extensive cleanup in the March 18-20 section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JohnWRuble (talk • contribs) 16:07, 21 August 2015 (UTC)
Proposed Page Merge
[edit]- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
- The result was do not merge into 2003 in Iraq.
Stale merge, AFD occured while merge tag was present without mention of merging. New merge proposal would be benefical. -- DarkCrowCaw 13:59, 8 May 2012 (UTC)
- The result was do not merge into 2003 in Iraq.
These two articles; 2003 in Iraq and this article are almost identical and should be merged together. The information is entirely the same and for the same period. Outback the koala (talk) 01:27, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
Support - This article covers nothing that shouldn't be covered in Iraq War. AzureFury (talk | contribs) 20:26, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
Move instead - The title of this article sounds like it was created with the impression that the invasion of Iraq would constitute the entire war. However, it covers only the timeline of the invasion in detail, instead of the entire year. It should be moved to 2003 invasion of Iraq timeline or something of that sort. The title is misleading, but the two articles aren't really the same. It should have been moved years ago.--Abusing (talk) 02:00, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
- Comment I would rather support a merge with 2003 invasion of Iraq.--Abusing (talk) 02:46, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- Changing the name is not going to help this page. I proposed the merge as an alternative to proposing it's deteltion, as per WP:PROD. If instead it would be more efficient to eliminate this page through deletion, then I should hate to lose any material that could be saved by moving it over to the other article, hence the proposal to merge.
