Map in infobox
[edit]The map in the infobox needs somehow to reflect that Longboat Key is in both Manatee and Sarasota counties. clariosophic 16:43, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
Stephen King
[edit]Stephen King is marked as "Citation needed". In his novel "The girl who loved Tom Gordon" he writes in the aftermath that he is on longboat key. As I am not American Citizen and have not read it in Original language just wanted to propose that someone checks this. b/r Ulrich --198.175.152.211 (talk) 14:50, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
Copyright violation in history section
[edit]Unfortunately, the entire history section was in violation of copyright. The section was copied directly from the Longboat Key website. The section should be rewritten in a manner that does not violate copyright. Leeannedy (talk) 16:18, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
