[edit]Is this the version of the blob's history as told in the Uncanny X-Men, or is this one of the alternate versions (such as one of the animated TV shows)? - UtherSRG 02:32, 22 Jan 2004 (UTC)
Remaining de-powered?
[edit]Isn't that the Blob in the back of this promotional image for Civil War?[1] Does this mean he gets his powers back? Or does Marvel have some other fat character I don't know about? rst20xx 22:59, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
- That's Microbe/Fat Guy of the New Warriors. He... umm... talks to bacteria.
- And, yeesh, what's going on there? I count at least five out-of-date and/or just plain wrong costumes - SoM 01:03, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
- It *is* just a promo, I mean, the Alpha Flight people are on there and so is Nova, and the former are dead and the latter is in space... - Gasface
- Civil war promotional stuff is heralding the "return of alpha flight", so half of your argument is unfounded. Nova will be doing one of the other two storylines concurrent to Civil War.
Return (of sorts)
[edit]Promotional material for Uncanny X-Men 500 has the Blob as an actor and weight loss guru in Japan. Honestly! [2] I guess this won't get added till it comes out nest week. Sabine's Sunbird talk 22:38, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

Blob (comics) → Blob (character) – does not follow Wikipedia's naming conventions. NeoBatfreak (talk) 19:19, 22 August 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose "Blob (character)" should redirect to The Blob. The titular monster character is much more likely than the Marvel Comics supervillain. Use Blob (Marvel Comics) instead, as there are several other blobby topics in comics, including comics adaptations of the classic monster movie -- 64.229.88.43 (talk) 05:07, 23 August 2022 (UTC)
- Support Blob (Marvel Comics) then--NeoBatfreak (talk) 06:35, 23 August 2022 (UTC)
