The result of the debate was - should be merged into a Spells of EverQuest when that article is created.
A spell from the game Everquest. Now it seems I read somewhere that spells from D&D were not considered worthy of inclusion, so I must wonder why a spell from a game that has had nowhere near the influence of D&D is here. As the term "fancruft" is sometimes looked on askance, let me describe this as Fiction and Entertainment Complied with Extreme Specificity, or F.E.C.E.S. for short. -R. fiend 18:34, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- EQ hehe D&D has nowhere near the influence of EQ. Sjc 11:32, 28 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: a hardcore Everquest junky could make one big "all the spells you'll ever need to pay $19.99 a month to pretend to know" page, if he or she (ok, he) wished, but individual spells from proprietary MMPORPGs are no good. Geogre 19:55, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete, Spells of Everquest seems like a reasonable compromise. --fvw* 11:31, 2004 Nov 27 (UTC)
- Merge into Spells of EverQuest (note capitalization :) Bryan 19:26, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- A cursory examination of the subject seems to indicate that this is (for some reason) the only spell from Everquest that has an article, making this "spells..." page pretty short and useless. I didn't even see mention of another. To me this just says delete. -R. fiend 20:40, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)

- Strong Keep This is actually the most influential spell in the game which is probably why it deserves an article in its own right. Google for KEI and Everquest you get 5k+ hits. Which is rather more than you get for someone of major historical significance such as Ivar the Boneless. As long as EQ is played, KEI is going to be the #1 spell in the game, long lasting mana regen cuts downtime; moreover EQ is a game which has been in existence longer than WP, and has vastly more active users. Actually, I don't even know why I am wasting my time here, gonna go boot up EQ :) Sjc 11:30, 28 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Wow, the very most bestest spell in an entire game! Doesn't that just clear the notability bar in a record leap. Not convinced. And being "older than wikipedia" is hardly a feat. If that were the sole criterion we'd keep every vanity page ever written. -R. fiend 00:38, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- EQ also has a significantly bigger user base than WP. But don't let your ignorance bar your mouth from opening, R. Fiend. Sjc 18:51, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Well, it certainly never has before. Not that it's significant, but how can you be sure? Does wikipedia keep tabs on the number of users? The number of contributors is probably easy to keep tabs on, but anyone who ever looks up a single thing in wikipedia is technically a user, and I don't see how they leave a trace. I wouldn't be surprised if that number was more than the number of people who shelled out a hundred bucks to play an online game. Either way, it has little bearing on this article's status. No one is arguing that minor elements of wikipedia should get their own article outside of the WP namespace. -R. fiend 20:02, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)

- Move to Spells of EverQuest This can be the basis for a more comprehensive article. Rossami (talk) 23:40, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Merge with Spells of EverQuest or with the game itself, but it should not be a stand-alone article.Cari0028 02:33, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)
