[edit]Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Counties standards might help.
this page lists a "fact" that says that New London County is exactly half the size of Rhode Island (at 2000sq. km.) however, the RI page says that RI is 1340sq. km (or something close), considerably smaller than 4000, obviously.
which page is wrong? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.83.46.55 (talk) 14:05, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- It is doubtful the census bureau numbers are incorrect so the listed "fact" is likely wrong. I'll verify and remove it. --Polaron | Talk 14:07, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- Update: It is not exactly half but if you include coastal areas then it gets pretty close. No such relationship for land areas though. In any case, this is not that unusual to merit a mention. --Polaron | Talk 14:12, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
