Ms. Hu's case
[edit]Would the writer of this case please explain the following: 1. Is Ms. Hu equal to Aw Sian? 2. Who is the official of law and politic department? 3. What is the declaration that she actually published?
Actually, I would suggest if the news is part of the HK Standard Case, why not we integrate the two? It's really confusing here..
Thanks.
HK Standard image
[edit]The image of the HK Standard is too blurred.. can we take a better one?
Should the HK Standard "CASE" be called a "CASE"? or is there any better word for it?
[edit]Impression part is not needed?
[edit]I see the impression part on the article and I don't think it should be included as it is very subjective and personal and should not exist on this journal.
Explain
[edit]Hello, Secretlondon, can yo please explain the changes that you have made, as I think it can be more detailed.
- Look at Wikipedia:Guide_to_Layout and Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style. I may have taken too much out but it needed information on *why* The Standard is important for international readers. It read a bit like an advert. You should never link to anything called 'here', and linking to subscriptions is advertising. Secretlondon 19:45, Oct 24, 2003 (UTC)
I delete "compares to other english newspapers available in the market" because I think other newspapers, for example Young Post of SCMP is also suit for the students to read, and the language is also not difficult, not just the student standard.

[edit]- These seem to be groups of Hong Kong school students writing very detailed articles on the local media. I presume this is some project work. Some of the stuff is copied and pasted from somewhere as an article posted today referred to future events happening in Spring 2003. I edited The Standard but they've just continued. I don't know whether these are problematic or whether I'm being a bit control-freaky. It does seem to be an excessive amount of detail and references for the media of one small area. 193.131.186.150 16:17, 27 Oct 2003 (UTC)
- Their leader is Professor user:Fuzheado. Brion Vibber and I would like to encourage them. I propose we move this entry to talk:The Standard. --Uncle Ed 16:28, 27 Oct 2003 (UTC)
- I agree we should encourage them. The copy-and-paste article was on one on domestic pay tv in Hong Kong. 193.131.186.150 17:27, 27 Oct 2003 (UTC)
U mean we shouldn't focus too much on local, but put more infomation about the other 8 places?
- ATV Enterprise Limited reads like a copy and paste, as well. RickK 04:00, 28 Oct 2003 (UTC)
The third paragraph seems too detail and should appear in newspapers of Hong Kong. The last paragraph seems too promotive. Gakmo 09:33, 31 Oct 2003 (UTC)
More information on Content Please
[edit]Dear all, I've added subsections in Content with just one line of description for each section in the Standard. Please read the newspaper and try to give a little more details about the different section in The Standard. - 0101CHONGmt 07:16, October 10, 2005 (UTC)
First line about Austrian and Belgian paper deleted
[edit]Since we are talking about the Hong Kong paper 'The Standard', the Belgian paper and the Austrian paper are totally irrelevant. Therefore, I deleted them from the article. - 0101CHONGmt 17:11, October 10, 2005 (UTC)
- That is for disambiguation purposes. — Instantnood 20:09, 10 October 2005 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:DaBinLo 009 after.jpg
[edit]Image:DaBinLo 009 after.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
