from VfD:

A nonexistent company from a fictional TV series, non-notable and nonencyclopedic, and could never be expanded beyond stub length. DreamGuy 15:36, Dec 18, 2004 (UTC)

  • Keep. Art Vandelay and Vandelay Industries show up in multiple episodes. It may be a fictional company, but it's a well-known fictional company. Gsd97jks 16:03, 18 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Merge this cruft. Wyss 16:44, 18 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • I've been bold and merged it into George Costanza, making Vandelay Industries a redirect. [[User:Meelar|Meelar (talk)]] 17:43, Dec 18, 2004 (UTC)
  • Works for me. Yay being bold. --fvw* 18:14, 2004 Dec 18 (UTC)
  • Agreed; merge and redirect. Samaritan 19:28, 18 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Yeah, that works too. Gsd97jks 22:37, 18 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Make separate article to encourage expansion. Notable topic within the context of the series. Everyking 06:11, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Merge and Redirect: DCEdwards1966 06:57, Dec 19, 2004 (UTC)
  • Yeah, I think the redirect is appropriate for now. If the amount of information gets larger, then it can be broken out when it needs to be. Shane King 00:31, Dec 20, 2004 (UTC)
  • I agree with Meelar: keep this as a redirect to George Costanza. —Psychonaut 17:22, 20 Dec 2004 (UTC)

end moved discussion Just a note, that a recent WikiLeaks article mentions that Amazon used the name of Vandelay Industries for one of it's hidden data centres. See wikileaks.org/amazon-atlas/. Should that be added? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.200.6.10 (talk) 14:54, 22 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
