Power Rangers

Does no one else notice that they are friggen identicle to the Power Rangers down to the uniform? Doesn't that deserve mention? I realize the Megarangers came first, but as the Powerever made a dent on Rangers were and still are a massive children's show in the US and the Megarangers never made a dent on American or British culture and this is the English Wikipedia... Er, you do understand that Power Rangers: In Space is comprised partially of footage from Denji Sentai Megaranger, yes? If so, then I'm afraid I'm very confused, if not, then that's the reason they look similiar. I hope that answers your question.--SB | T 17:07, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

I confirmed that there was a copyright infrigement on this page with the Sentai Galaxy Page where most of the original material from the website Sentai Galaxy was used for the following summaries with hardly any differences between the versions to describe the attacks.

Sentai Galaxy Version

Galaxy Mega

The Galaxy Mega is a giant blue robot that the Megarangers use to fight the enlarged Nejire Beasts. The Galaxy Mega is a combination of a large spaceship called the Mega Ship (in which Professor Kubota and the INET team are stationed), and a smaller craft called the Mega Shuttle, which becomes the robot's head. The Galaxy Mega's main weapon is the Mega Saber, a long silver sword, with which the Megarangers can perform many different types of attacks. These include the Mega Side Cutter (a horizontal slash), the Mega Flying Cutter (a dashing horizontal slash), the Mega Cross Cutter (a pair of diagonal slashes that form an X) and the Mega Dash Cutter (a dashing horizontal slash). The sword can also extend into an energy whip, called the Saber Electromagnetic Whip. In addition, the sword can extend itself while remaining rigid, turning into a spearlike weapon, called the Galaxy Lance; or it can be thrown as a spear of energy, called the Flash Arrow. When fighting Toad Nejire, Mega Pink created a new attack with the Mega Saber, called the Saber Electromagnetic Snake. Because toads are afraid of snakes, the tip of the sword turned into a snake-shaped energy projection that scared Toad Nejire and gave the Galaxy Mega an opening to finish him off. The Galaxy Mega also uses a round shield called the Mega Shield for defense. To fight Owl Nejire's eyebeams, Mega Blue outfitted the Mega Shield with a mirror coating to reflect Owl Nejire's beams back at him. In addition, it uses an energy cannon called the Booster Rifle, which detaches from the bottom part of the Mega Shuttle. The Booster Rifle can either fire powerful energy blasts or a cloud of freezing gas. The command to combine into the Galaxy Mega is "Denji Gattai! (Electromagnetic Combination!)".

Super Galaxy Mega

The Galaxy Mega and the Delta Mega can combine together to form an even more powerful robot, the Super Galaxy Mega, with the command "Chou Denji Gattai! (Super Electromagnetic Combination!)". In this combination, the Delta Mega's Gatling Blasters are positioned on the shoulders of the Super Galaxy Mega and are three times as strong. The Super Galaxy Mega's deadly attack is the Super Galaxy Knuckle, in which it fires off both of its fistslike rockets to blast through the enemy. The Super Galaxy Mega is activated when Mega Red presses "01" on the Battle Riser. In order to combat Mad Guirail, a new attack of the Super Galaxy Mega's was used: the Big Band Attack. The Super Galaxy Mega spun around at blurring speeds, flew up into the air and then shot down like a comet and blasted right through the enemy.

In this mode, the Delta Mega's Gatling Guns are positioned on the shoulders of the Super Galaxy Mega, and are three times stronger than normal. The Super Galaxy Mega's finishing attack is called the Super Galaxy Knuckle, where it fires off both of its fists like rockets to destroy the enemy. When the Super Galaxy Knuckle proved useless against Mad Guirail, a new attack was used, the Big Bang Attack. This is where the Super Galaxy Mega spun around at high speeds, then flew up into the air and finally shot down like a comet and blasted through the Mad Guirail.

• • Galaxy Mega: Combination of MegaShip and MegaShuttle. The Galaxy Mega's weapons are the Mega Saber, a sword which the Galaxy Mega can perform a wide variety of attacks, Mega Shield which can protect the Galaxy Mega and enable it to safely enter Earth's atmoshpere, and Booster Rifle, a gun created from the Booster Pack which originally enabled for the Mega Shuttle to make it into space. The Booster Rifle can fire energy blasts or freezing gas to freeze it's opponent

Mega Saber Techniques: The Mega Saber is capable of multiple energy attacks

• Saber Electromagnetic Whip: An energy whip that is used to weaken the opponent.
• Mega Side Cutter: A horizontal slash,
• Mega Flying Cutter: A jumping slash,
• Mega Cross Cutter: A double diagonal Slashe attack that forms an X
• Mega Dash Cutter: A dashing horizontal slash.
• Galaxy Lance: A sword extension attack that destroys it's target from a distance
• Flash Arrow: The saber is thrown like an arrow/spear to implale it's enemy
• Saber Electromagnetic Snake: Used against Toad Nejire, where Mega Pink took advantage of a toad's fear of snakes by transforming the tip of the sword turned into a projection of the snake.

Airing Schedule

Color Scheme

Under Trivia: "First Sentai team to have the color set of Red, Black, Blue, Yellow, Pink and Silver. This would be repeated 3 years later in 2001's Hyakujuu Sentai GaoRanger"
