Welcome

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! --Lst27 23:18, 18 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Author credit

[edit]

Hi! I appreciate your contributions to Ticketmaster, but wanted to advise you that it is not our policy to include author credits in the article; instead they are credited by the history tab. This avoids cluttering up articles with the multitude of contributing authors, as well as avoiding conflict in the prominence of author name placement. If this was accidental I apologize. Woodstock page needs beefing up

[edit]

Hey Bee, that Woodstock, Ontario, page needs some beefing up. I've added some, but it needs plenty more! I was born in Woodstock in 1954 but moved to London, Ontario, in 1965. Barry Wells 01:13, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:JLC logo.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:JLC logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:12, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
