Opinions on this Timeline?

[edit]

This timeline was split off from the Timeline of fictional historical events without a whole lot of discussion, so I thought I would ask what people think about it. Should it be voted for deletion and the content merged back in, or is it a sensible and useful distinction? -- Logotu 16:24, 11 Feb 2005 (UTC)

It's going to be tricky to maintain this timeline, especially with the grand number of fictional contemporary events out there, as well as the ones that are being created each day. But if you can pull off what you are trying to do with this page without causing a whole lot of clutter, then I see no reason for it not to continue. --DXI 03:40, 14 Feb 2005 (UTC)

SUGGEST: limit this time line to the 20th and 21st Centuries. ALSO: spinoff a timeline entitled Cartoon, TV and Videogames Events and incorporate those listings from the other timelines - Really

What is the dividing line here anyway. What should be considered "fictional contemporary" and what should be "fictional historical". Sherlock Holmes' "death" is on this page and his return in on Timeline of fictional historical events prior to the 20th century and The events of The Wizard of Oz are listed on both. This distinction needs cleared up. Dallas69 14:51, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
