Jose Escamilla (March 25, 1951 – December 12, 2018)[1] was born “Jose” Jesus Garza Escamilla. He was an American Actor, Writer, Director, Producer, and Editor. He is best known as the creator and owner of TBLN Film Company.[2] Mr. Escamilla is the producer of ten films and he directed seven of them. [3] Mr. Escamilla appeared on various radio and television shows, including Coast to Coast AM[4][5] and MSNBC.[6]

Career

Jose Escamilla was born in Roswell, New Mexico in 1951. He is a graduate of Roswell High School, New Mexico. He moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1977. He started his filming career as a background actor and evolved into a world renounced film producer and director.

In 1999, Jose branched out into the study of cryptozoology when he was on location to film a segment for a new movie. He states that in the High-speed camera he used in the filming, it captured something out of the ordinary. He called them Sky Fish, also known as Rods. Flying Rods: Elusive Sky Phenomena is one of his know works with the Discovery Channel of the UK.[7] Iowa State University's engineer students built and tested "flying rod" models and was documented on The History Channel's Monsterquest.[8]
