Talk:E-poetry
I think iterature should be removed: It is not just e-poetry, though some of it is. Perhaps a selection from this interesting page should be made. As it is, some-one thinking s/he'll get e-poetry winds up wading through a number of slow-loading links, only a few of which even might be called e-poetry.
Duplicate pages: there is a page titled Digital poetry which deals with the same content. I think E-poetry is by far the more common term, (although it's possible there's some subtle diffference betweeen the 2 terms). I'm sure the two pages need merging but am not confident to achieve it myself.

"Electronic" is not the same as "digital". Electronic poetry could be done with non-digital technology. But, also, the term "e-poetry" is associated with a particular American school of poetry whereas "digital poetry" has wider association outside of the USA. Also, as noted in the e-poetry article itself, the term 'e-poetry' has been, to some degree, superceded by the term 'digital poetry'. I don't think the articles should be merged. They should play out their different fates.
I agree that, though the term "digital poetry" has increasing currency, "e-poetry" usefully marks the first phase of what now seems a border crossing practice, and is sometimes grouped under the broader term "new media".
ad?
[edit]The gift of poetry stuff seems questionable as e-poetry. In any case, it seems like it's an ad that's been snuck in (with the same link twice). Shouldn't this eithe be eliminated or at least cut down so that it doesn't take up so much of the short article? Kdammers 10:32, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
The latest link
[edit]sems to have too much non e-p stuff. I think it should either be removed or a more detailed ref should be given. Kdammers 05:59, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
