- Ken Arok was killed by his son-in-law using the keris named Mpu Gandring. His son-in-law proclaimed a vendetta for 7 generations.
- Ken Arok was killed by his son-in-law etc. As Ken Arok was dying, he proclaimed a vendetta for 7 generations.
- Ken Arok was killed by the keris, which was then cursed for 7 generations.

- Mpu Gandring was a name of Blacksmith. Mpu was a title in ancient Java. It means someone who have a knowledge. It was Mpu Gandring who proclaim his keris will extinguish Ken Arok and his descendant. Anusapati (Ken Arok's son in law) coincidenly murder his father in law using the keris. Rulers
[edit]The page at present says Wisnuwardhana suceeded Panji Tohjaya, but the Panji Tohjaya site says Ranggawuni followed him. Anyone know which (if either) is correct?--Hansnesse 08:58, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
