Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Father's Day (film)
Appearance
Non-notable and/or not verifiable. According to the article, it was a short film by a high school kid, of which no copies exist. IMDb is unaware of the film, or "writer/director Hunter Abbey" (see next two listings), and only knows of Dan Weekes-Hannah's (abbreviated) performance on The Tribe. All combinations I tried with google resulted in zero relevant hits or a couple Wikipedia mirrors. That includes trying to find "Young Filmaker's Showcase" or "Young Filmmaker's Showcase". If it gets deleted, the mention at Wellington High School should be removed, or at least de-linked. Niteowlneils 21:10, 5 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: Prank/vanity, not notable enough. When the kid succeeds in getting noticed by the wider world, we may need an entry on him, but not now. Geogre 21:31, 5 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Delete, agree with Geogre. Note that that the entry for Dan Weekes-Hannah was blanked by author and has subsequently been speedy deleted. --Ianb 22:13, 5 Sep 2004 (UTC)

- Keep. It's a legitimate film and therefore a legitimate wiki-article! -- Crevaner 02:29, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Given Niteowlneils' inability to find any information about the film on the web, the onus is on you to prove that it's a legitimate film. Bearcat 04:15, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)

- Keep. It sounds like an interesting film, and I do not see any evidence that the information is inaccurate. Voyager640 07:49, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. I don't see any evidence that the information is accurate. If someone can actually provide more details on this '2002 Young Filmmaker's Showcase', I may reconsider. Average Earthman 12:12, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Evidence that the information is inaccurate isn't a necessary condition for deletion, Voyager640. It works exactly the other way around -- evidence of accuracy is necessary for it to stay. You have it bass-ackwards as to where the burden of proof lies. Bearcat
