Hi Nk, and welcome to Wikipedia.

Thankyou for finding the time to sign up and contribute to our little project. If you're in doubt about anything, you might want to check out some of these pages:

It's also a good idea to sign the new user log and add a little about yourself.

When contributing to a talk page, you can sign your name by typing four tildes after your comments, like this: ~~~~. (Just so you know, some people won't pay attention to unsigned comments).

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me at my talk page, or at the Help desk or Village Pump.

Above all, make sure you be bold when contributing, and have fun!

Hello Nk,

Thank you for the compliments and the encouragement. Upon discovering Wikipedia, I noticed that there were some notable structural engineering articles missing and I'm happy to lend my knowledge for the good of the project, especially when my contributions are so well received!

License tagging for Image:Conic sections 2n.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Conic sections 2n.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 12:05, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

Category

[edit]

Hello, you added a category to the Winchester, Virginia page. For some reason, any language other than English will not show up on English Wiki (not sure why), so I had to remove the your category entry. I apologize for the "technical difficulties" and urge you ro re-enter your category in English. Sorry again for the technical difficulties. - SVRTVDude (Yell - Work) 23:46, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My mistake...I have learned that what you entered was an "interwiki"...not sure what that is, but it has been reverted. Sorry about the confusion. - SVRTVDude (Yell - Work) 03:41, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. You could see WP:IW. :) --Nk 13:39, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Noinclude

[edit]

Thanks for the heads up. I think that was one where I didn't notice the existing noinclude tags. I admit. I've categorized a couple of thousand templates...and noinclude still baffles me at times. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 14:59, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Januarius MacGahan

[edit]

Januarius MacGahan lists several sources, all offline, so I can't check his birthplace. I was going by those; but since you have a more specific source, I guess that will trump the others. Thanks! Nyttend (talk) 13:19, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I was thinking that maybe you would like to join the WikiProject Bulgaria. There you can also find and contact users who are trying to improve Bulgaria-related articles. If you would like to get involved, just visit the participants page and/or inquire at the project's talk page. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
:) --Nk (talk) 10:14, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Nk! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 5 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Princess Marie Louise of Bulgaria - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion, guidelines for use at WP:MINOR). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and all users will still be able to manually mark their edits as being minor in the usual way.

For well-established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 20:54, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Bulgarian help needed

[edit]

Hello Spas, I'm contacting you because we need some Bulgarian translators to help with the deployment of the new VisualEditor on bg.wikipedia. There are help pages, user guides, and description pages that need translating, as well as the interface itself. The translating work is going on over on MediaWiki: Translation Central. I also need help with a personal message for the Bulgarian Wikipedians. If you are able to help in any way, either reply here, or head over to TranslationCentral. Thanks for your time, PEarley (WMF) (talk) 20:22, 21 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'm somewhat surprised that you are asking me - the one service page that I have ever translated is WP:IAR and it's rather short. :) I'm afraid that I'm quite busy these days (+ not very enthusiastic about VisualEditor) - let's hope that your request at our WP:VP will be more useful. --Nk (talk) 14:10, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That is understandable. Thank you for your reply. I think the post has brought in one editor, so that is good. If you have any concerns about VE specific to the Bulgarian editing community, please let me know. PEarley (WMF) (talk) 17:51, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

--Stanqo (talk) 20:15, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

--Nk (talk) 13:42, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
--Stanqo (talk) 11:28, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
--Nk (talk) 07:58, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
--Stanqo (talk) 11:38, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
--Stanqo (talk) 08:31, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
--Stanqo (talk) 11:04, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Rumensz (talk) 12:13, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

--Nk (talk) 14:04, 14 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Rumensz (talk) 12:32, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
--Nk (talk) 14:45, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
