The Jazz
[edit]I don't see anything about the Utah Jazz playing there until the ESA/Delta Center was built. Seems like that would be worth mentioning. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.195.192.133 (talk) 07:27, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
Pics
[edit]Last time I visited Saltair, I noticed sections of a few waterslides. It was pretty funny because there were pices missing in mid air. Pretty delapidated. If someon can grab some good snapshots of present day Saltair, that'd be neato.

Bands that have played there.
[edit]I added Panic at the disco and evanescence as they are both bands that have had shows there. I know this cause I have been to them. I have the exact dates for both shows. If we need to provide some soft of proof, I can arrange that.
Pic of Saltair from Carnival of Souls
[edit]That pic is nowhere in the film. There is no shot from the angle; the lake level is wrong; the aspect ratio is wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.184.40.166 (talk) 22:08, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
Maybe the pic you are talking about was removed. The ones in the article now are of the first and third versions. It was the second one that appeared in that film. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.54.250.11 (talk) 17:13, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
The lake level fluctuates drastically from year to year, so that's no help. The scenes from Carnival of Souls were shot in the interiors; I don't know if any exterior shots were done at Saltair.D&RGW 223 (talk) 14:32, 14 April 2011 (UTC)

"Swimmers at Saltair, c. 1890s" pic
[edit]Caption is likely wrong, also on Commons, and in the source (BYU Library). The latter says "Probably photographed by Charles R. Savage" (who died in 1909). Well, that's impossible because the building is "Saltair II" build in 1926. Compare the tower roofs and other details, there's a lot of pics around (even the first Saltair here in the article). Also, there wasn't bathing suits like these "around 1900" or "ca. 1890s". Must be end of 1920s or even 1930s... -Amga (talk) 15:20, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
Confusing phrasing
[edit]To what exactly does "the interruption of the 'go to Saltair' routine" refer? Lee M (talk) 05:14, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
