Lawsuit

[edit]

Was going to edit the Lawsuit title text when somebody sniped me and it looks good. It is HALL'S lawsuit against OATES. Thanks to whoever fixed it just before I refreshed the page. CentralPAGuy (talk) 05:24, 23 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Lawsuit & Restraining Order = Breakup?

[edit]

A couple anonymous users have already edited the page to imply that the duo have dissolved in light of the legal dispute between them and the restraining order against Oates. I reverted the first change since there was no official announcement of a dissolution (and it's not like one of them died), but after it was reinstated by the second anonymous edit, I thought it'd be worth bringing up here. John Oates has said that he has "moved on" from being part of the duo, while Daryl Hall has stated that they are undergoing a "global divorce" of their creative partnership. So it looks as if Hall & Oates is effectively over... but there hasn't been a definitive announcement of a split as yet. Mark and inwardly digest (talk) 17:28, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Callin Oates?

Seems like many media outlets wrote about this in 2011.
